Market View 19 March 2010

Wall Street closed mixed as Dow made it 8 winning
sessions in a row while the broader S&P 500 closed
slightly light in overnight trade. Dow gained 46 points,
Nasdaq added 2 points while S&P 500 dipped 0.38 points.
Market is still looking for clear direction of action
and it is looking that consolidation will be coming soon.

Back to our local trading...
Genting closed 94cts after hitting a 97.5cts high, which
is one bid away from the 98cts resistance that I mentioned.
It is back in the 92-98cts region now, and it will
ding-dong within it for a clearer trend to form.
After this short break, I believe Genting will head toward
the $1 mark with strong support force behind.
But first, it need to test 98cts again.

Sound Global fka Epure performed exactly like what I
commented yesterday. It is having a tug-of-war around $1.01
now. I am still bullish bias that it will break the high of $1.01,
but one should still have a clear trailing stop with this stock
in case the wind changes direction.

Yesterday also saw CSE Global pop-up in action
in late afternoon surge which it closed 99cts although
the volume is not that impressive. I am monitoring it for
a test pass the $1 mark with volume, and will participate
when I see it happening.

If you had read my blog at the beginning of the year,
I stated with my head stick out that there will be a tech
run this year. Indeed, I saw the old-time tech darling PCI
in the top volume. Those who have been trading for years
will know the crazy surges performed by PCI during the
last tech rally. Along with PCI, I also saw action in stocks
like Innotek fka Magnescomp (another wild horse), and
if I can consider it to be a tech stock, Techcomp (not because
of the tech word, it is a analytical and medical instrument and
manufacturer). I will do some more research on the tech
stocks and update according next week. Seriously, I hope to
see the techs finally rally up, and we will have more money-making
opportunities all around the market.

Market View 18 March 2010

I will jump straight into the stock trading for
today as I am late with my market view.
The main trading stars for yesterday must be
Epure and Genting. I got a reader who asked me
about the stock to enter yesterday morning, and I
specifically told him either Epure or Genting or both.
He entered Epure at 95cts and I believe he still had it
now with a trailing stop. Good for him.

A reader commented that Epure moved after its company
name was changed to Sound Global, a change of luck
and fortune was what he said. Well, I don't really believe
in all this stuff but the chart already pointed to higher price surge,
and for those who don't believe that Epure can charge pass
$1 again when I commented weeks ago, Mr Market had
showed you his power. Never say Never in stock trading,
anything and everything is possible when the trend is with you
and the wind is blowing behind your back.
Epure will have a tag-of-war around $1.01, and I will suggest
those that still holding it to set a tight trailing stop and stick
to it.

We come to Genting next. I was actually expecting it to hit
98cts before retrace down, and I was just a single bid away
as it hit a day-high of 97.5cts yesterday. I believe that the 98cts
may still be tested today, but it is getting weary and may
start its consolidation any time.
Yesterday also saw YZJ, Biosensor, Yingli in top volume, and
it is worthwhile to look at them too.

Market View 17 March 2010

"Wall Street hits fresh 17 -month high after the
Federal Reserve held benchmark rates near zero
and maintained its pledge to keep them low for
an extended period." Dow surged 44 points, S&P 500
gained 9 points and Nasdaq rosed 16 points.
Although the move by Fed is largely expected, market
watchers and players were pleased that nothing negative
came out of Fed decision. The sun is still shinning brightly
at least for now.

Yesterday a reader asked me about CWT, and I replied
her that it will move "unexpectedly" and she need to
watch over it. True to my words, CWT started to move up
in the afternoon and closed at a high of $1.06 The momentum
is still strong and the opening will continues its strength.
If you want to know why, then all will be revealed in the news soon.
Genting aka wild horse is looking uncertain at 95cts, at the middle
of being bull or bear, as 92cts is the support and 98cts is the
next resistance. I am bullish bias on it at the moment.

I will continue to trade the winner stocks when it is green.
Genting, Falcon Energy, CSE Global, CWT, PEC, Epure,
Sinomem & YZJ .
Winner Stocks: Ezion, Swiber,CH Offshore, Broadway,Midas,
Sinotel, Golden Agri, Yingli, Biosensor.

Market View 16 March 2010

Wall Street closed mixed as Dow staged a late
rebound to close in the green together with S&P 500.
Dow gained 17 points, S&P 500 added 0.52 points
whole Nasdaq lost 5 points. "On Tuesday night the
interest-rate setting committee of the Federal Reserve
holds a one-day meeting in which the central bank is
widely expected to repeat its promise to keep borrowing
costs exceptionally low for "an extended period."

Some readers commented that yesterday's market was
pretty boring as the main actions are only focused on
a handful of stocks. I have to say that this is quite common
given the lack of direction and "meaningful" fundamental news
therefore the market players were just pumping the fried-rice
again and again.
Genting was the main focus yesterday but the profits was
low as compared to the risk level taken. The 92 cts support level
should stands strong for the time being, but it will still be tested.
For those interested in Genting, the next "powerful" resistance
stands at 98cts.

Market should be quiet today and as usual the main actions
will be on "those" few stocks again which is in my stock recommendation
list too. Some people asked me if I will trade ALL the stocks
that I recommended. The answer to this question is NO.
I will look at their chart everyday, and determine where is
the entry level, and the potential winning range vs the risks.
Therefore, before market opens everyday, I already know that
if a certain stock move within range or box, then it is time
to plunge in with a cut-loss stricted set and followed.

I will continue to trade the winner stocks when it is green.
Genting, Falcon Energy, CSE Global, CWT, PEC, Epure,
Sinomem & YZJ .

Market View 15 March 2010

Just a quick recap on what happened to Wall Street
last friday: Dow closed up 13 points at 10625, Nasdaq
lost 1 points to close at 2368 while S&P 500 retraced
0.25 points to close at 1150. This week's main focus
will be with the Fed meeting on tuesday which market
players are "looking to economic data and statement from
the central bank for evidence the recovery is still on track."
I believe that the current market is still positive at least till
May-June period, but I am rather bearish for the 2nd half
of the year.

Ok, a few readers asked for a comment on Genting, so I
am giving just a short one. If you have been trading
Genting and looking at the chart last week, you should have
noticed the "power" of the 92cts support line which was the
day-low of a few days' trading. I stated this 92cts line for many
occasions and I believe I am among the first to voice the importance
of this price support which will turn into an equally strong resistance
should Genting breach below it. One tactic of trading Genting is to
grab Genting at the support line, but stick to the stops if it fail to hold.

I am still on the 3 stocks that I mentioned last week, namely
Sinomem, PEC & Sinotel which I see will have more action this week.
The market will be quiet for these 2 days for more direction
from the US side with the Fed meeting on tuesday.
Stick to the green leaves, but prepare to pluck them out should
they turn yellow, and not when it has rotted.
