Market View 17 April 2009

Quite a handful of Hot stocks took a breather
yesterday, and it is perfectly healthy, as it provide
yet another good chance for buyers to snap up the
stocks on decline.

Given that today is friday, even with Uncle Sam
posting a near-3-digit gain, the stocks are going
to open "quietly". It is unlikely to see fireworks early
in the day, but the sentiment will slowly get charge-up
in some of the Hot stocks.

Now that Ezra has dropped below $1, I will be focusing
on it closely in an attempt to mount the $1 peak again.
I will also be providing stocks that are near to the $1 mark
in my another blog, and I will update them asap.
Trading near-$1 stocks is a small but very powerful method
which will benefit the traders. They are near-$1 for a reason,
and it is very likely that they will be push-up cross the mark.
Look up for my another posting later in the day....

For today, I will be fighting guerilla warfare, and will just
"participate" in a couple of stocks that are still green from the
Hot stocks list: Ezra, Cosco, StraitsAsia, Noble, NOL, Olam,
SembMarine,Yanlord, & Raffles Edu, Midas,Swiber .
I still welcome any profit-taking "exercises" being carried-up
by the Houses.

As usual, enter a position will a Trailing Stop,
and Please practice strict money-management.
If you don't like what you see in the market,
simply don't trade.

Market View 16 April 2009, the 101th posting

I just realised today morning this blog has
its 100th posting yesterday, and it is so
great to see that this blog has progressed
well, and I certainly hope that it has help
the readers in making any investment/trading
decisions. I believe that if you have followed some
recommendations in the blog, and apply
trailing stops, you should have made pretty decent
profits, if not a hefty one.
If you have benfited from my blog, I welcome and
appreciate any comment from the readers.
Thank you for reading my blog, and I hope that there
are many more "100s" for the blog.

We have seen many stocks that I kept mentioning/traded
surging to new height, and many of them were below $1
when I recommend them. Now, for example, Noble, NOL,
Olam, Straits Asia, Yanlord, Ezra, Cosco, there are now trading
above $1, and if you have collected them, you can be
staring at a >50-100% profits, it is how strong such
Hot stocks are.

So will this surge continues, and is this the start of the
next Bull run? It is rather early to state that this is
a major turning point to the good side, but my view is
just make full use of any such rally to pile up your
wallet and bank account, and you will have more
"bullet" to play with at the next surge. This mini-rally
will end somehow, and it is how you react when it turns
that matters. I remember watching an interview by CNA
to Mr Jim Rogers, and he said that we should have seen
A bottom, but it may not be THE bottom.
We will still see sell-downs, although it may not be that
drastic as before, if there are nasty economic/corporate news
out from Uncle Sam and locally, so be prepared for anything.

The current surge is really moving "fast and furious",
and I believe that many readers may not have caught
all or most of the winners, but as long as you have caught
certain "mad horse", you should be rewarded with a
"mad" profits as well. I saw many other trading blog
telling the readers that the market is overbought, and they
should sell everything and take all profits.
On my side, I tell people to have a Trailing stops when trading,
and follow the winners that are still green and intact momentum,
and be prepared for any sudden south wind, and let the
profits and winners run, and cut the losers short.
Simply, keep trading, but be prepared.

Now that many stocks have surpass the magical $1 mark,
I will also be shifting my radar for those near-$1 stocks
that will get "push-up" to the mark, and I will share
with the readers here. The sub-$1 stocks are at their
current price for a reason, and that is to be "pump-up",
and the $1 mark is just a stone-throw away.

For today, I still will be targeting to the still-green Hot stocks
in Ezra, Cosco, StraitsAsia, Noble, NOL,Olam, SembMarine,
Yanlord, & Raffles Edu, Midas,Swiber as backup. I welcome any
profit-taking "exercises" being carried-up by the Houses, but
I will still be in action today with the still-greens, unless there
are massive red tide in action.

As usual, enter a position will a Trailing Stop,
and Please practice strict money-management.
If you don't like what you see in the market,
simply don't trade.

Market View 15 April 2009

After a handful of not-so-favourable market
sensitive economy data from Uncle Sam and
our local market, is today finally a "red-letter"
day for Hot stocks?

Stocks will inevitably open weaker, but not
all stocks are created the same, and we will
still see some greens among the pool of red flowers.
It is well within time that the Hot stocks
take a breather, and allow the contra players to
get out, and allow the next pool of buyers in.

I will only be paying attention to the still-green
Hot stocks inEzra, Cosco, StraitsAsia, Noble, NOL,
Olam, SembMarine,Yanlord, & Raffles Edu, Midas,
Swiber as backup. I will watch the show from the sideline
if the sentiment and price action of them are weak
and wait for any reversal to come, or just
follow the still-greens.

As usual, enter a position will a Trailing Stop,
and Please practice strict money-management.
If you don't like what you see in the market,
simply don't trade.

Market View 14 April 2009

I didn't went in many positions yesterday,
only involved in Ezra and Cosco's surge, while
watching for further weaknesses in other
Hot stocks.

Ok, back to local front.
The government now expects the economy to shrink
between 6% and 9%, worse than its previous forecast
for a contraction of between 2% and 5%.
The economy also contracted 11.5% on yoy comparison.
So how will our market react today?
And before I forgot, President Obama is going to
announce something significant tonight, and our market
will likely to factor it in as well.

Market should be pretty quiet today, while the local
economy news is absorbed and digested. I am hoping
for blood to flow in our market, although I will still
be focusing on those that are still strong and green.
Last few week's surge has propelled many Hot stocks
to great heights, and it is essential to take a breather
for future advancement.

I will be paying attention to the still-green Hot stocks in
Ezra, Cosco, StraitsAsia, Noble, NOL, Olam, SembMarine,
Yanlord, with Raffles Edu, Midas & Swiber as backup.
Deep in my heart, I am seriously hoping for them to
bleed in today's session, but I will see the actual market
sentiment and price action to decide on any trade on them.

As usual, enter a position will a Trailing Stop,
and Please practice strict money-management.
If you don't like what you see in the market,
simply don't trade.

Market View 13 April 2009

I strongly believe that many readers should have
made succulent amount of profits last friday,
and maybe is still holding the winner stocks
till this morning, like Ezra, SembMarine.......
I have cleared all my contra buys, and I am
heading toward this week with a cautious mindset.

I won't be charging into the stocks today, but I will
be waiting for weaknesses and cracks to appear in the
Hot stocks before I jump in. Some stocks will gap-up
but I don't foresee them heading up with intact
momentum, and they should run-out of steam.
This is a possibility that I am willing to risk for
missing out further surge in the Hot stocks.

Ezra should be still in close focus today, but be aware of
any south wind. The rest of my attention will be for Cosco,
StraitsAsia, Noble, NOL, Olam, SembMarine, Yanlord,
with Raffles Edu, Midas & Swiber as backup.

As usual, enter a position will a Trailing Stop,
and Please practice strict money-management.
