First of all, please take note that we will have 2
IPO debut today. At 9am, Geo Energy will begin
trading and at 2pm, Religare Health Care will debut.
If you are interested in trading this 2 stocks or you
are successful in the public application, take note
of the trading time, especially Religare.
Next, we will see a mega IPO debut next 2 weeks.
Dynasty Reit public offer will end on 24 October and
will start trading on 30 October. An earlier IPO,
Gaylin Holdings public offering will close on 23
October, so it is another dilemma of IPO selection.

Of the 4 stocks that I mentioned over the last 2
days, Yanlord and CMZ performed very well.
I believe that there are still further upside with
this 2 stocks and CMZ will likely play catch-up with

the former 2. I believe that they can still be the attraction
in today's trading.

Market View 18 October 2012
Ok, if you are interested in applying for the
Religare Health Trust IPO, then you have another
3 hours to do so till today noon. Another IPO,
Gaylin Holdings was also out yesterday and on
initial assessment, I like this stock. It public offering
will close on next Tuesday, 23 October, but take note
that closing time is 10am and not the usual noon 12pm.

caught my eye on the chart, and they are China Minzhong,
Noble. STX OSV and Yanlord." I continue to like this

Market View 17 October 2012
First of all, if you are interested to apply for the
Geo Energy Resources IPO, then you have another
3 hours till noon to do so. I have written my personal
view on the stock at Singapore IPO Lobang
Also I will do a write-up on another IPO, Religare
Health Trust today. The public application closes
tomorrow noon. I read from the Straits Times that
there is another IPO listing on the Catalist board
next Wednesday. I will go through the prospectus
and do a write-up if I feel that it is a good listing.
Ok, back to the market.
Wall Street surged high again in overnight trade due
to good corporate results announced. Dow is up more
than 200 points in 2 days and Nasdaq and S&P 500
also posted respectable gains. But somehow, our market
never make a move. It was a case of Tiger Head Snake
Tail yesterday with the early gains being erased by the
mid-day and some even become worse off at closing bell.
It will be a good start today again, but somehow I expect
a better closing at the end of the trading day.
There are 4 stocks that particularly caught my eye on the
chart, and they are China Minzhong, Noble. STX OSV and
Yanlord. Watch their price action today.

Wall Street closed higher in overnight trade
on corporate results announced and stocks
rebounded. Recently, our market had been
lacking significant clear-cut signals and the
trading volumes are pretty subdued and lower
than before. We can just look at the Top Volume
stocks for a guide and even the stocks in my
watchlist are showing slowing trades and volume.
Even the IPO is not spared of such a price action.
In my opinion, Courts Asia had a disappointing
debut yesterday due to weak market sentiment.
If it debuts with a better timing, it will not be trading
at just 2cts up from the IPO price. If you have read
my IPO blog, you will know that I am expecting more.
Not to worry, we will have another IPO, Religare
Health Trust coming out today and the public application
will close on 18 October, this Thursday, 12pm and
the stock will debut next Monday. It is another very
short application period, in fact, the same as Courts
Asia IPO. Another IPO, Geo Energy IPO application
will close tomorrow noon, so you can't show hand with
this 2 IPO application so close and the money won't
be back on time. I will comment on the situation in
my IPO blog very shortly.

Market View 15 October 2012
Last Friday, I suggested some books for the readers
to get to know more about Mr Market and there were
some feedback from the readers on Skype, email
and the blog comment. Frankly, my suggestion is to
read as much as possible as after some time reading,
you will know what are the better classic while the rest
are plainly a waste of your time. It's ok, as long as you
benefited from the book and gain some insight and
knowledge of what Mr Marketing is doing.
Ok, some readers asked me for some more books that
they can read. I am not really a fan of Alexander Elder as I
feel that he is better off as a book writer than a professional
trader. You guys can still read his book but you may
feel the same way as me after reading them. Next, I
suggest the readers to read books by Larry William
who is a real trader.
Today will mark the return to the local market of Courts
Asia, but looking at the pre-opening quote, it is going
to be a silent entry and not with a bang. It is set to open
at only 79cts, a mere 2 cts up from the IPO price, as I
was writing right now. I believe it still have upside potential
but the market sentiment maybe dragging it down for now.
I will give my view on the next IPO, Geo Energy soon and
the latest will be by Tuesday. The IPO application will close
on Wednesday noon.
We will have lots of event happening this week with many
corporate result out from the US and local. There will
be a couple of sensitive data coming out too. It is going
to be an eventful and excitingly volatile week ahead.
