Today is the last trading day of May so what
was your trading result for this month?
Many readers told me that they were doing
pretty well until the last 2 weeks when some
selling surfaced. I told them that is a good
reminder that the Market Forces are still the
determining factor and don't throw caution to
the wind.
Yesterday most stocks were still bleeding although
the wound looks to have dry up a little. I believe
that the stocks will be more stable today and
going forward. I noticed that Ramba still managed
to surge high yesterday on a reasonably well
volume. The momentum looks to be increasing
as well. Last reminder that today is a Friday so
do be cautious too. I will not be on Skype as I
am rushing out soon.

Yesterday, I wrote in the blog, "But today will be a
good time to be vigilant as we already pre-surge
yesterday before the opening bell and the closing
figure from Uncle Sam hit our shore. Stay with those
stocks still hot on adrenaline and the momentum is intact."
Indeed, most mid-cap and penny stocks headed south
while the micro-pennies still enjoying the limelight
in the Top Volume closing in the green. Well, I don't
really care about them. Ok, I did notice that Vard fka
STX OSV was still green among the bloody stocks.
So what will happen to the stocks today?
I believe we will open weak but likely to close
on a high note today and not slump further down.
This is my view and it may not work out exactly.
Look for the strong stocks among the reds if you
are looking for trading opportunities.

I received several feedback yesterday after
talking about becoming a full-time stock trader.
Some feel that it is exactly what they are
facing right now while others stated that they
are much more readings to catch-up.
Well, as long as you make the first tiny baby
step out to the unknown, then only can you
achieve something out of the already-known.
Ok, some readers asked me yesterday why
is it that I never sound the alert and caution
bell this time round? A simple straight-forward
answer will be I have not taste the blood in the
wind yet. But today will be a good time to be
vigilant as we already pre-surge yesterday before
the opening bell and the closing figure from
Uncle Sam hit our shore. Stay with those stocks
still hot on adrenaline and the momentum is intact.

Many stocks rebounded yesterday and some
even resume their extraordinary run-up again.
I stated that as long as the stock is back again
above last Thursday's day-high then it is consider
as a strong stock and likely to have more upside.
This is a very simple concept of the momentum
continue to roll on and add-into the momentum again.
Ok, recently I received quite many questions
from a few readers wanting to become a full-time
stock trader like me. My heart tells me that everyone
can become a stock trader but my mind tells me
that not everyone can become one. Read up on
the Turtles if you are interesting to know whether
one can be trained to become a stock trader and
the success rate behind it. Frankly, if you have the
will and determination to become one, then you
should really do some read-up voluntarily. You should
be hunger for any financial knowledge and know-how
and whatsoever related to stock market and the financial
world. I always ask all those who "aspired" to be a
stock trader which section of the newspaper do they
read first, and which section of the library or the
book store do they head to first, or even what is the
most common topic among the friends that you are
associate with. It is not a clear-cut indication but at least
you should know where your passion lies. From my
understanding, most people can only be an investor and
a mediocre trader at best. Most treat the stock market
as a casino and it is like playing "Big" and "Small" on the
gambling table. I tell you what, even on gambling, there
are also smart and calculated gamblers versus the
reckless and foolish gamblers out there. The skilled gamblers
are always trying out methods and techniques to gain a slight
edge over the house while the rest are depending on Luck.
"Luck is what happens when Preparation meets Opportunity"
How much have you prepared to win in the stock market and
are you readily prepared to face the Mr Market?

Ok, I will dive straight into the question that
many readers are very interested and eager
to know right now, "Where will the market be
heading today, this week, next month.......?
A very easy answer, "I don't know!"
I am not the stock Almighty and I don't have
a stock market crystal ball that actually works.
But I can give a guide base on the signs and
indicators that I see.
To me, the recent selling is a correction by
Mr Market who is reminding us who the real
BOSS is. Clearly, we have to continue to monitor
and analyse what he is trying to tell us.
It had been a really good run in the market and
frankly, I am also blinded by the greed and fear
monster that I nearly lost track of the real market
action last week. Luckily, I cleared off most of the
contra position in time last Thursday just before the
selling took place in the afternoon. I also alerted the
readers to start taking profits in the various stocks that
I mentioned last week too and I believe that many
readers should have taken the money out of the table.
Next, we come to the most important questions that
I received in emails, "Do I buy now or Do I sell now?"
You see, that is the issue. In my view, I don't expect
the market to tank right now but I don't totally give it
a all-clear sign to rush in and buy. Frankly, I don't expect
a V-shape rebound today but I am looking at the trading
volume and range if the selling continues. The coast will
only be clear if the sell-down stocks are once again back
to the high of last Thursday's trading price. I need to follow
the trail that Mr Market has for us at the moment and
I need to follow it but also keeping up for any fallen
fruits along the way. Look for the stronger stocks among
the fallen.
In a few weeks time, I will write a review on what had
happened in the 1st half of the year and also give my
expectation and prospect for the 2nd half of 2013.
If you recalled from the beginning of the year, I wrote
that I expect a 虎头蛇尾 trading year. Do I still feel the
same way after the recent selling? We shall see...
Oh ya, regarding the Asia Pay-TV IPO that close today,
I am still going for it despite the market sentiment right now.
You guys decided for yourself whether to subscript for it.
I am not doing a write-up on the IPO.
