Market View 16 October 2009

At the closing bell, the Dow was still above 10000 points
after suffering an early scare to a day-low of 9977,
and having in the red most of the day. The same can be
said of Nasdaq and S&P 500 too. We will have BOA,
GE reporting today to close the week above the critical
point or .......

I have already stated yesterday that because we pre-moved
in ahead of the US market, there will be some upside
resistance, and indeed that was what we saw yesterday.
A few readers informed me that they have been stopped-out
by the trailing stops but nevertheless were still in a decent
profits following last few days' rally. It is very much OK, as
you really can't expect the stock to move up everyday,
although deep in my heart, I am having this faint hope
everytime I entered the market. :-p

Today is friday so I will be trading very light if any on
the stocks that I recommended.
Take a look: Ausgroup, Ezion, Falcon, F1, First Res, Li Heng,
Mermaid, Raffles Education, Sinomem, Swiber, United Enviro,
Uniasia, YZJ, Yingli & Pan Hong.
Looking closely at Rotary, Tat Hong & Tiong Woon, Ramba,
Seroja, C2O, AFP, China Enviroment.
I know that quite many companies is having a
holiday next monday due to tomorrow's saturday
public holiday, so if you are not trading, simply
enjoy the long-weekend.

Enter any position with a Cut-loss level & Trailing Stop,
and Please practice strict (Risk)Money-management.
If you don't like what you see in the market,
simply don't trade.

Market View 15 October 2009

As expected in yesterday's blog, Dow surged pass
the important psychological resistance 10000 points
landmark on better-than-expected results from
JP Morgan and Intel. Now we shall see how long
it stay above the mark......
We have many powerhouses reporting tonight,
and it is looking to be another exciting trading
day. They are Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, IBM,
Google & Nokia, just to name a few.

Our market was in a pre-celebration mood
yesterday, and many stocks rised through the
roof. A lot of my stock recommendations were the
winners, we can see that Ezion up 7.5cts, YZJ added
7cts, Falcon flew up 6.5cts, Yingli surged 4.5cts,
and Ramba, Ausgroup, Tiong Woon, Mermaid,
First Resources, Indoagri......
Don't ask me for stock recommendations today,
as I will just stick to the given winners until the trend
did a u-turn. I will be adding one more stock,
Raffles Education into my list, as I like what I see
in its chart and momentum.

Because we already pre-surge in anticipation of a
great US showing yesterday, we may face some upside
resistance today, as profit taking may arise, so I will
just keep to my stops, and ride the wave.

Enter any position with a Cut-loss level & Trailing Stop,
and Please practice strict (Risk)Money-management.
If you don't like what you see in the market,
simply don't trade.

Market View 14 October 2009

Wall Street is in the red after a straight 6-day gain,
Dow closed the day down 14 points, Nasdaq up 0.75 points
and S&P 500 slided 3 points. It is good to take a break
before heading higher. In my 2cts view, I feel that Dow
will almost surely clear the 10000 points hurdle in the
days to come, the question to ask is whether it will
stay above it? With the banks coming out with
result in the coming days, the focus will be on how is
their quarter-to-quarter result, as the year-on-year is
sure to be bright. Tonight, JPM will be reporting, let see
how it fare, and how Uncle Sam will react.

Our market will likely open flat or down slightly today,
but as observe over the last past weeks, there are always
supporting hands coming in to snap-up goodies when
stocks were battered. A reader told me that my stock
selections has become more riskier than before.
Yes, the stocks that I have recommended are highly
volatile, and some of them, highly "controlled" (range-bound
in the chart). They are riskier, and with that come
bigger returns. They are the player and BB's darling stock,
and I am there also to take a small bite at the chunk of
meat available.

Take a look: Ausgroup, Ezion, Falcon, F1, First Res, Li Heng,
Mermaid, Sinomem, Swiber, United Enviro, Uniasia YZJ,
Yingli & Pan Hong.

Market View 13 October 2009

Wall Street gone through a roller-coaster ride
yesterday, with the Dow reversed from a 66 points
upside to fall into the red before closing up 21 points.
Nasdaq performed the same pattern and closed
down 0.14 points, but the S&P 500 was up 4 points.
The Dow is now about 120 points from the
all-important 10000 points which it has not touch
for the last 1 year. We will have JP Morgan, Citibank
and Bank of America reporting on wednesday, thursday
and friday, and it will be very interesting and exciting
to see whether the mark can be breach.

If you have stay with the market to the closing bell
yesterday, then you may have won some quick $$
as quite a handful of stocks surged up during the
last trading hour. We can see Swiber, Mermaid, Ezra,
Ausgroup, Ezion, Falcon, and even those that I
am still watching Ramba Energy & Seroja up strongly.
I even noticed a old-time favourite darling also up very
strongly, and it is Asia Food, worth taking a look.

We may open weak today, but it will be a well-supported
trading day. Take a look: Ausgroup, Ezion, Falcon, F1,
First Res, Li Heng, Mermaid, Sinomem, Swiber, United Enviro,
YZJ, Yingli & Pan Hong.
Looking closely at Rotary, Tat Hong & Tiong Woon, Ramba, Seroja, C2O, AFP.

Market View 12 October 2009

Uncle Sam closed the week in a high note,
after a best closing since July. Dow closed
at 9865, up 78 points, and is at a 52-week
high, with the all-important psychlogical
mark of 10000 points a stone throw away.
The main attraction this week will be whether
the Dow can stage a surge on the support from
good corporate result by Intel, IBM, GE....
I believe it will be a great show this week.

On our local shore....
Singapore's economy continued to expand in Q3,
boosting the government's expectations for a milder
contraction for the full year than previously estimated.
GDP rose 14.9%, the first on-year increase since the
second quarter of 2008. Our government expects the
economy to post a milder contraction with the fall coming
in between 2.5% and 2.0%, narrower than a previous forecast
of a 4%-6% decline. A pretty good performance indeed.

I see that our market and the pennies will continue
to be volatile but highly trade-able this week.
Any "surprises" from Uncle Sam will have a
knee-jerk reaction to our stocks.
I continue to like my stock trading recommendation last week
and will stick to them for good trading this week.
Take a look: Ausgroup, Ezion, Falcon, F1, First Res, Li Heng,
Mermaid, Sinomem, Swiber, United Enviro, YZJ, Yingli & Pan Hong.
Looking closely at Rotary, Tat Hong & Tiong Woon.
They are the same old stocks that I recommended, and
they are still here because the play is not out yet,
as simple as that...

Enter any position with a Cut-loss level & Trailing Stop,
and Please practice strict (Risk)Money-management.
If you don't like what you see in the market,
simply don't trade.
