Market View 25 March 2011

After resting on the bed for the last 2 days,
I am back feeling great and energetic once again.
The Virus had really bring me down to my knee,
I guess I have not taken a good break this year.

Anyway, on Tuesday's blog, I mentioned that Genting
will be surging and  "I am cautiously bullish that it will
get push-up to the resistance soon." Indeed it is up
above the $2 mark again and you would have made
at least 5 cents if you go with the stock in the last 2
trading sessions. It will have good support at 1.97 and
further upside resistance will be around the 2.04 region.

I also suggested the readers to go into HPH Trust which
was trading around 95cts when I wrote on it on Monday.
It had since moved up and closed at 98cts yesterday.
How high can it go? Your guess is my guess but this is
definitely a good mid-term stock and for me a stock to
keep for a long time.

No Market View Today

I wasn't feeling well this morning and the doctor
supposedly wanted to give me 2-day MC.
Too bad that in this line, a MC is useless or
insignificant to me. I will take a full rest today
and hopefully I am at least 60-70% fit and
alert tomorrow, and I can give a market view.

Market View 22 March 2011

It was a good bargain-hunting and bottom-fishing
session for some yesterday with the blues, mid-caps
and pennies enjoying the buying spree together.
Is the trend going to continue? Well, as long as there
is no further untoward news coming from Japan,
the market recovery will be definite.

Genting is at a cross-road now having closed at 1.91
yesterday. Surging up and it will hit resistance at the
as-usual 1.97 level. It will have good support around
the recent low 1.86. I am cautiously bullish that it will
get push-up to the resistance soon.

The commodities, water and O&M sector have always
been my favourite hunting ground and they have pay-off
quite well in all these years. I believe they will also lead
the way this time round. Don't ask me about the what stocks
are worth looking. I have mentioned their names on numerous
occasions and it is still the same old stocks for me.

Market View 21 March 2011

Another fresh new week of trading but the
market leading factor will still be the same
with the Japan earthquake and nuclear crisis
news taking the center-stage and the Middle-east,
mainly on Libya taking the supporting role.

In my opinion, I believe that the market will make
a quick and fast recovery to the pre-quake level
and may even surpass it within a very short time.
Japan is resilient against the natural disaster and
will recover in no time. Some reports pointed to a
V-shape recovery while other believed that it will
be a U-shape recovery for the Japan economy.
I just know that market will definitely move before
the first ray of the sun, and we should be in the
progression now.

Some readers asked about the HPH Trust which listed
last Friday afternoon. My view, how low do you think
it will go? I am already in the stock as I am writing now
if that is the answer you are looking for.
Regarding Genting which a lot of readers are very
interested, as long as the recent low 1.86 is intact,
it is good.
