I was chatting with a reader yesterday on my
usage of Chinese idioms and phrases in the blog
and to my disappointment, he thought that I have
copied them from somewhere. I wrote several
Chinese posts last year too and he also thought
that some other people wrote it and I just transfer
to my blog. Actually, all those posting are done by
me. My Chinese language standard is still considered
better-than-normal and although I have not been
reading many Chinese books, articles, I guess my
fundamental is still intact. I promised that reader that
I will re-publish what I wrote last year in the blog
today, so I will do so now. Well, you can call me
Vain and like to show-off, I don't care. 8-)
I wrote this last year while idling away....
I wrote this last year when our woman table-tennis team
lost to the China team without any fighting spirits.

Market View 9 March 2012
Did you bring your wife, mother even just
your girlfriend out for a nice dinner yesterday?
Or for some of the gentleman who knows how
to cook, did you cook up a meal for your woman
yesterday? Even if the kitchen is a mess afterward,
the woman also will gladly clean up after a
appreciating dinner. I chat with some guys in
Skype yesterday and that was exactly what I told
them to do, and I believe that it was quite a 8th March.
At least, the women only paint the town red and
never touch on the stock market as it was majority green.
Ok, back to the main issue...
I received several emails and Skype message asking
what's next for STI and the stocks.
For example:
"Hi there, I am feeling lost. Before today all was bearish after today
all became bullish again.
With your expertise what do you anticipate from STI.
Many thanks and regards"
If you read my blog post, I already expect a rebound
on Wednesday and that was exactly what happened to
some of the stocks I mentioned. I will try to decipher what
will happen to the stocks for the time being.
For China Minzhong, Noble, Yanlord, Biosensors,Genting,
the damage had already been done and the stocks are
doing just purely rebound now. I believe that the stocks
will be weaker in the days ahead.
But for the stronger stocks like GLP, STX OSV, it looks
like they will be testing for new high and as long as
STX OSV don't fall below 1.70 again and GLP stay
above 2.11, they should do just fine.
If you are looking at the stock charts, you should have
noticed that YZJ, NOL, and Ezra have very similiar
charts, and I believe that their fate may be tied
to each other for the time being. Actually I quite like
what I see in their chart, and I believe that they should
have similar performance. The critical level for Ezra
is 1.16 and a fall below that will be chaotic.
YZJ critical level is at 1.20 and NOL is at 1.39 level.

Nicolas Darvas Trading Secrets Home Study Course
Ok, I received several emails, Skype message
and even in the comments asking about the
Nicolas Darvas Trading Secrets Home Study Course
that I mentioned before I left for my holiday.
I will explain what is in the course and why you
should give the course a serious try and how it
can help you in getting better trading results.
Let me begin by saying that I have been stock
trading for quite some time and along the way,
I have tested and discovered that some trading
method can really be used in our local market
context and some are plain rubbish.
Nicolas Darvas Box Theory is one trading
method that I noticed and applied with good
success rate in the market. It is a very simple
but powerful method that I use day-in-day-out.
Do take note that it is not the ONLY trading
method I use in my arsenal but it is one of the
most used one.
The cost of the course is USD 97 or about S$130,
you can pay in local currency. Some people will ask
whether it is worth the money. I can't really comment
for all the people as I know that many are just blindly
trading in the market and is always looking for the
Holy Grail in trading which in my opinion does not exist.
My advice is to get the course and give it a try and if
it seriously don't benefit you, which I doubt so, then
just request for a refund. I have to say that a lot are
not willing to invest in getting better with their trading
and would rather be a gambler in front of Mr Market.
The result can be catastrophic and the gambles continue...
Why not try it out with the course and see whether it
can help and assist you in your trading? I have use it
for years and it is doing very well, and I am still
continuing using it.
I have to admit that I will make a commission with any
purchase of the course. But if the course is beneficial
to you, is it right that I make some money because of that?
If you are interested to get the course, here is the link:

It is International Women's Day today and
I would like to say that behind every successful
man, there really will be a or many women
that are always supporting and encouraging what
the man is doing. This blog has its pool of
women supporters too and I thank you for
your encouragement and kind words in the
emails and Skype message to me.
Take a well-deserved break today and paint
the town red, just don't make the index and
stocks red today if possible. 8-)
Ok, one woman Skype reader jokingly told me
that I still have the travel jinx intact with me and
she already expected that the market will fall
when I am away. Well, you can take it to be
purely coincidental or maybe it is really happening.
So should I go for more holidays or should I just
stay in the home ground this year?
Back to stocks.....
The main action yesterday lies with GLP and
STX OSV, this 2 die-die also won't die stocks.
STX OSV's recent high was 1.755 and I was
expecting a 10-12% pullback to at least 1.57-1.58
but it only hit a low of 1.59 and rebounded.
The next major resistance is of course the recent
high of 1.755 which I believe will be severely tested.
GLP if you read the news is because of its intention
to list in Japan this year. It will likely face the first
resistance around the 2.20 mark and then the
next one will be at 2.26
A few readers are still asking Genting, which I have
mentioned many times that the critical level is
at 1.57 Above that, it is bullish in the near-term while
a fall below the level will triggered a landslide to test
the next support at 1.50

It was a great pool of red in my stock watchlist
and I believe that many of us will see the same
colour too. I received emails and Skype asking
is it due to the European nation debt issue, or
the China's growth forecast or whatsoever that
is in the news. I have to say this very cruelly,
if you are still hoping to find a reason to any
rise and fall in the market then you seriously need
to do a brain-washing to get rid of all these
financial-draining thoughts. Did you not notice that
when the market is hot, there will somehow be
a party-popping news out somewhere that will
send the market into a whirlpool and when it
is hopeless and dead-quiet in the market,
a wonderfully optimistic and market-welcome
news will pop-up to bring cheers and volume
and momentum back into the market?
Think about it, who is really behind all the
market news and action?
Anyway, stocks will definitely open much weaker
today and do watch for the support level of
the various mentioned stocks. I don't do much
shorting but I will be ready for any rebound that
is happening to the winner stocks.

Market View 6 March 2012
Hello Everybody, I am back!
The Market View wasn't back yesterday not
because of jet-lag or whatever, it was due
to a very simple reason: I Overslept! 8-)
Anyway, it was quite a "bloody" day for the
pennies and the mid-caps yesterday but the
index is only down slightly at a negligible 1.7 points.
The selling had pushed some stocks to the
support level while some have breech the nearest
support line. Before I went for holiday, I have openly
said in the blog that I expect a 10-12% pullback
for the stated stocks if the selling starts and I still
believe it should be this way. The index stocks are
supporting the whole market in view of other news
from the Europe zone and US, and if the selling
spread to the big caps, then it is really a case of
I believe that the selling will be a significant one
and it will be a very wonderful time to pick up
some good bargain along the way. In my own view,
we should have another splendid year-end rally.
It is really a case of 神龙见首又见尾.
