Market View 5 April 2013

Interestingly, a few readers asked me on Skype
about the mad fat man in North Korea and
the tension that is going on right now. I believe
that the readers are aware of the phrase,
"Empty Vessel makes the most noise". This is
exactly how and what I will describe the fat
man right now. All I can see are just purely
hot air from his mouth and he is just acting
like a kid, wanting the attention to be focused
on him. Empty and action-less threats were
his father's forte and it seems that he has
pick up this skill excellently. You see, if you
really want to strike or hit someone hard,
you won't let the other party have the time
to prepare for your moves, and you will want
to keep our action under the sleeve.
My parting statement: 舞照跳, 马照跑, 股市继续升

Back to market after getting myself all oily
and greasy over the mad fat man....
I believe that the readers should be able to see
that many stocks are down from their recent
high on a reasonably high volume too.
I have nothing much further to add but to
re-iterate my view to be cautious of what is
going on in the market right now. No, it is not
about the fat man. To me, it is just a commercial
break again. Well, after running so hard and high,
it is good to take a rest and prepare for the next challenge.

Market View 4 April 2013

Ok, I am perfectly alright now, feeling much
much better than days ago, when the whole
world looks like spinning and there is a earthquake
happening. Well, I took my time to recover from
the silent sickness and although I did look
at the market these couple of days, I believe
I spend more time away from the market resting.

Back to the market...
I observed that there are clear pump-and-dump
operation in the market recently. A very clear sign
will be to push a stock past a technical-defined
region, like a resistance, trendline, even moving
averages on a significantly higher volume but
reversing the play in day(s), causing unawared
buyers to be stuck at the high buying price.
No, the stock may not get whack down after that,
as it may go into a consolidation stage with the
next follow-up action pending. Frankly, I like stocks
to have a sudden run-up in volume, but I am
equally alert to sudden reversal also. Sadly to say,
STX OSV is a victim of such operation recently.
I believe there are buyers stuck in the sudden
run-up and can't get out on time when the play
is over.

Lastly, I will still compile those local brokerages'
stock call over the last few days in the other blog:
