STI had been up for a consecutive 7 days
and many readers were asking why I never
sound the alert or caution this time. Actually,
I know the readers' concern but somehow this
time round, I have not sense that the tide is
turning but I did see those speculative micro-penny
popping up in the Top Volume already. This
is an ominous sign but the market may only
stay down for a short period and revive back
into action again. There are still lots of good
trading bargains and money-making opportunities
at the moment and one should enjoy and devour
it while the sun is still bright.
YZJ finally break through the 1.04 resistance with
strength and closed at a day-high of 1.07
It is looking good for further upside gains and the
next meaningful resistance will be at the 1.10 mark.
There is nothing much to say, but stay with the Greens.
I will do a write-up on the Neo Group IPO today so
that the readers can decide whether to subscribe for it.
Its application will close on Monday.

Market View 5 July 2012
Most stocks closed down weaker in yesterday
trade. Apparently, the mice never come out and
play although Uncle Sam is closed for holiday.
Anyway, we had a pretty good run in the last few
days and it is perfectly normal and healthy to take
a break for the next surge ahead. I continue to believe
that July will be a profitable month and unless I sense
that the tide is turning, I maintain my view.
I will talk about China Minzhong as I received some
questions on the stock. On Tuesday morning, I stated
on the blog that CMZ has the potential of a breakout
and indeed it surged to a high of 63cts before closing
at 61.5cts I highlighted yesterday that it must stay above
61cts to have any further upside. And yesterday the
stock closed at 60.5cts It will now face strong resistance
on the upside at 64cts and along the way there will
be tons of sellers along the way. As long as it is above
61cts, the potential is still there, or else we may see it
reversed back below 60cts again.
Next, we have The 3 Musketeers, which closed rather
mixed yesterday. I continue to like them but the sentiment
now may not be the right moment for them. They have
surged high till the resistance level and a breather for them
is good for future gains.
Oh ya, I keep on forgetting what I told some readers on
Skype last few days. If you are wondering about the financial
books quantity in the library that I mentioned on Monday,
then I can tell you that there are still tons of books in the
library right now. Get the picture?

Market View 4 July 2012
US market continues to march on with
further gains from the 3 major indices.
With the US market closed today for
holiday, how will our market and even
the regional react today?
I believe that when the cat is away, the
mice will come out and play. It is likely that
we will also be having a good trading day.
Yesterday, many of the mid-cap hit their
respective resistance level and some even
closed in the red. Well, I believe that they will
be re-testing the resistance again and I
have highlighted them in the blog yesterday.
A few palm oil stocks also surge through the
roof yesterday with First Resources gaining
10cts and closed at $2 and day-high of 2.02
Bumitama also added 5cts to close at 1.065
with a very healthy volume. I mentioned about
the palm oil counters last week and they continue
to be in the limelight before and after the listing
of their peer Felda listing in Malaysia.
We have another major powerhouse IPO from
Malaysia again, and it will be the third-biggest
one this year with IHH Healthcare. If the readers
noticed the surge of Biosensors yesterday, I believe
that there is a bit of spillover effect in the medical
stocks. I mentioned in blog that I am only interested
in Biosensors after it has passed the 1.18 mark,
and with its closing figure of 1.185 yesterday, it is
back into my radar again.
Next, we have China Minzhong, which I mentioned
yesterday that "looking at the chart formation,
a breakout of the current range looks favouable",
and indeed, it broke out and surge to a day-high
of 63cts before closing at 61.5cts. I believe that its
momentum is not over yet and further gain will be
seen when 64cts is taken out, with next resistance
staring at 69-70cts mark. Do take note that it need to
stay above 61cts for any upside potential.
I also highlighted YZJ yesterday that "a breakout on
the upside will be imminent when it is near to the 1.04
resistance and a breech will see the next resistance
toward the 1.09-1.10 level." I continue to support
my view.

Market View 3rd July 2012
Ok, market started Q3 with a bang closing
high in a volatile session. We have the STI
closing above 2900 again and plenty of mid-caps
performing very well.
The 3 Musketeers did superbly well yesterday,
with each posting gains toward their major
resistances. Noble up 4cts and will meet resistance
very soon at 1.16, Sakari after surging 8cts will
face the resistance straightaway at 1.45-1.46,
and Olam surged past the 1.88-1.89 resistance
to close at 1.90 It will be interesting to see whether
it can stay above the level for long.
Next, we also see some recent IPO in action.
Bumitama is just a stone-throw away from its
short historical high of 1.02 after closing at 1.015
yesterday. If you have been on skype with me,
you will know that I am pretty bullish with this
counter, and to me it is a permanent >$1 stock.
I will comment on one of my favourite stock STX OSV
next. The next resistance is also a step away at
1.57-1.58 after closing at 1.56 yesterday.
I expect the level to be tested and a breech above it
will propel the stock to the next resistance 1.63-1.64 level.
Some readers asked me about China Minzhong which
I recommended too. Basically, CMZ need to stay above
the 61cts level to have any meaningful and powerful
surges. It has been hovering within the current level
for some time, and looking at the chart formation,
a breakout of the current range looks favouable.
Another stock that has po-up in my radar is YZJ.
Its chart formation suggests that a breakout on the
upside will be imminent when it is near to the 1.04
resistance and a breech will see the next resistance
toward the 1.09-1.10 level.
Next week, we will see the close of 2 IPO application
which was presented yesterday. Neo Group will be closed
for application next Monday and the healthcare giant
IHH Healthcare's application will close on Wednesday.
We have another 2 cocoa ingredient processing companies
from Malaysia in the IPO pipeline too. Look like the 2nd
half of the year is going to be very busy for our money
and capital to profit from all these IPOs.

Market View 2 July 2012
Ok, if you can still see this paragraph, that means
that I have not wake up yet after watching the
Euro 2012 final between Spain and Italy.
And Yes, I am a football fan.
Anyway, I believe I won't miss out much of the
morning market action since stocks will almost
definitely open up with a bang after the strong
performance with the US indices last Friday.
Added: Nothing much else to add this morning
just that Spain won the Euro 2012 and I am glad
that I woke up and stay up through the entire match.
What a great display of sublime passing and
deadly attacking and finishing by the Spain.
Looking at the pre-opening quotes, almost all the
stocks will jump up this morning. The issue is whether
it can last the whole day. I believe we will see some
profit-taking toward the end of the day. See whether
I am right or not.
Some readers "unintentionally" asked me about my
view on the CHC and KH case. It is a so hotly debated
topic both on the Internet and offline when people
meet up or just a after-dinner or coffee-break discussion.
I don't wish to comment much on the case but I only
got a few Chinese sayings to comment on what had
happened.

Ok, a reader Mint posted a comment in the blog
last Friday, and I will re-publish it today.

We had a very wonderful June and the blog readers
should recalled that I call for a interim BOTTOM within
10 trading days from 5th June and during that time, we
have the Greek election coming in days. I also stated that
we are going to see a good June-July and I boldly stick
out my head with my blatant statements. At this stage,
I am absolutely right with my views and I continue to
believe that we will have a good trading month July,
unless I sense that the trend and sentiment is turning
south and sour, and I will update in the blog accordingly.
What I wrote on 5th June 2012?!
I have to say that I am better at picking or sensing
bottom-turning signals rather than top-turning ones.
I don't have a crystal ball with me and I formulate my
analysis from various sources and of course, my most trusted
Mr Charts, Mr Trend and Miss Sentiment. I am trying
to have a consistent and amicable relationship with
Mr Market, but he is blowing hot and cold with me currently.
(If you are asking Why is Miss Sentiment the only lady in
the party, then maybe you have not been in a BGR or
you are not married yet. Ok, I am just joking... 8-( )
Ok, next, we will talk about Stock Selections.
I have to re-iterate that to win good money from our
local market, you seriously need not look at tons of stocks
to profit from them. You just need to know which stock
will definitely be moving each and everyday and for that
we need the stocks to have trading volume and range.
I have already given my stock watchlist at the beginning
of the year and if you can re-read what I stated on
3rd Jan to 5th Jan blog then you will know the stocks
that I am with and watching everyday. You only need
to look at Winners and not every stocks to really make
good money in the stock market. Oh ya, don't bother
to ask me about those micro-pennies of a few cents
that are always hovering in the Top Volume. I am not
interested in them so I don't have any comment to give
to the readers who ask about them. They can go up
1000% in a couple of days and I won't even raise my
eyebrow to look at them. I stick with my Winners stocks.
What I wrote at the beginning of the year?!
I can only give so much advices everyday and if the
readers want to know more about Mr Market, then
he/she really need to do some read-up about them.
We have very well-equipped and well-stocked regional
and National Libraries with plenty of good financial books
on FA, TA, Stock Trading/Investing, Market Psychology, etc
but how many of the readers really make full use of the
facilities and the books. I have been to several countries'
libraries and you don't know how lucky and fortunate that
we are living here and not some other places.
Just ask yourself, when was the last time you step foot
into a library or when was the last time you get yourself
a really good book in the library and not using up all the
lending quotas for your kids' books?
Next, I am going to disclose a very closely-guarded secrets
that I believe that maybe some other traders have also
observed but never reveal it out to the public. If you are a
regular lender of the Financial or Business section books,
then just by judging at the number of books available, you
can gauge how the market will be moving very soon.
Just to put it very plainly and bluntly in case I am not good
at putting in a lot of words. During the Super-Bull run, you will
find that the shelves are quite empty and many books that
you wish to borrow are all gone. It is like you are hearing
fishmonger and the fruit-seller in the wet market chit-chating
about which stock to buy and sell and a relatively unknown
penny stock is going to surge 500%.
Wow Wow, if only I am that "well-informed" as them....
By the way, you hear it FIRST here at my blog about the
number of financial books in relation to the status of
the stock market direction. I stand to be corrected.
