Market View 27 May 2011

The annual Great Singapore Sales (GSS) officially starts
today although another Great Stock Sales already started
days ago, if you have noticed it.

Despite the low transaction overall market value yesterday,
there are still winners in such a period. I mentioned STX OSV
and a relative unknown stock call Hu An Cable. They were
the winners for me and I believe that their upside potential
is still strong. The next resistance of STX OSV will be faced
at 1.27 and it need to stay above 1.20 With regards to Hu An,
as long as it stay above 37cts, it should be heading the next
resistance at 41cts and eventually 43cts. For those who wonder
how did I "uncover" the stock, all that I can say is that it is
all in the chart.

Some other stocks that I am watching eagerly are Ausgroup
as long as it above the important 44cts support level, First Resources
as I like what I see in its chart.

Market View 26 May 2011

Stocks rebounded in late afternoon yesterday and
it looks like the momentum may continues in today
trading. There are a few stocks that I am very
particularly interested in and they are Ausgroup,
Ezra, Ezion, STX OSV, and 2 new stocks,
China MinZhong and a relatively unknown stock,
Hu An Cable. I like what I see in their chart and
if you are unfamiliar with them, then it maybe worthwhile
looking at their trading pattern for a few days.

Genting's next resistance will be around the 2.04 region
and further downside will be supported at the 1.97 region.
Take note of the tech counters as well.

Market View 25 May 2011

I wasn't available to write the Market View yesterday
due to some last-minute pop-up.

Some readers asked me whether it is a good time now
to get in some stocks since they had fell quite badly on
Monday. My personal view is that yesterday was a
technical rebound for many stocks as the fell was quite
drastic on Monday. I prefer to wait for a bottoming
signal before putting any more money into the market.
I do bottom-fishing but I am more incline toward adding-up
when the bottom is confirmed or completed.

There are numerous reports that the worst is yet to come
in the Europe zone debt crisis and there is fear and worry
in the market right now as shown in the market volume lately.
My crystal ball tells me that anything is possible right now
and a spark can strike off an explosion but I am still waiting
for the confirmation from Mr Market.

Market View 23 May 2011

A Skype readers told me that he is interested in
getting a S-chip that he feels is a bargain at current
price and having good fundamentals, but he don't have
enough money to buy his desired quantity. To be frank,
you really need to have some "reserves" each month
set aside for such an investment  when opportunities
strike. I told him that he can start by buying small with
his money available now, and since he is working, he can
buy more of the stock when he gets his salary monthly.
I am still pretty cautiously bullish about the market now
although there are tons of bad news available for you to
digest if you so desired. We have the European debt crisis
looming in the horizon and the QE2 ending next month,
lack of fresh trading ideas, etc, but I believe this is just a
challenging time for us to pick up some bargains, at least,
this is what I see and purely my own personal view.
