Wall Street staged a pre-World Cup rally as
"Stocks posted their best day in the last nine on
Thursday in response to signs of health in the euro
debt market and as investors snapped up energy
shares crushed in the previous day's sell-off.
The energy sector led a broad advance with all
but four stocks in the S&P 500 finishing the day higher."
Dow surged 273 points, S&P 500 added 31 points
and Nasdaq rose 60 points.

Nothing much to say for today's trading only that I will
take profits on most positions, and will held over
the weekend with just those deep-in-the-money
counters. Stocks will jump up on opening and it is
a good opportunity to lock-in the profits.

World Cup starts today, but I believe fluctuation in
the market is not over, and during the course of the
event, there will still be lots of volatility. This is going
to be a very interesting June trading month.

Wall Street fell off the cliff at the last few trading
hours, erasing earlier gains as "Stocks fell on
Wednesday in another late-day roller-coaster ride,
dragged lower by BP and other energy shares as the
U.S. probe of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico deepened."
Dow lost 41 points, S&P 500 dropped 6 points
and Nasdaq gave up 12 points.

Last few days of trading should be still rewarding
to many readers from the emails that I received.
A very interesting readers commented that it is quite
"boring" trading on the same stocks times and times
again. I was quite amused by such statement as if you
ask me, I won't mind winning money again and again
from the same stock, do you? If a 4D number that you
bought keep popping up as winner, will you drop it
and look for other number to buy, or believe that
it will continue to pop-up again?

The market had been concentrated on the same
winner stocks lately, and the rotational interest is not
strong. I expect to see recent IPO being played soon,
and the techs too. I will stick to the mentioned stocks
in any weakness today with a ready stop.

The World Cup will starts tomorrow, and it is really
to "darken" my eye-bag but I will still continue to trade
with Mr Market.

Ok, I am late in today's posting so I will dive in straight
into our local trading scene.
Yesterday was a good day for the a couple of readers
and of course, to me too as the stocks that I mentioned
were the big winners. The biggest winners is Sound Global,
and the rest also delivered respectable profits.
If you still have them, just have a trailing stop, and sit tight
and enjoy their surge at opening today. I will seek to add
in more positions when the stocks rebounded.

Another day of red in Wall Street as "Stocks fell
on Monday, taking the S&P 500 to its lowest
close in seven months, as industrials and technology
shares fell and investors stayed on their heels after
last week's payrolls figure discouraged buyers."
Dow lost 115 points, S&P 500 fell 14 points,
and Nasdaq tumbled 45 points.

I wondered how many readers bought the stocks that
I mentioned in yesterday, because if you did,
you are sitting on small profits on a couple
of stocks. In fact, all of the stocks that I mentioned
close above the opening price. I was hoping for a worse
opening, but it was not to be, so it is still Ok to me.

Stocks will open weaker today, but as expected,
there will be once again supporting hands coming
out to grab the stocks. For those who are still holding
the stocks, just have a ready stop and sit tight.

I received quite a handful of emails from the readers
both concerning the mailing list and their trading/investing
questions. Just keep them coming in...

Side Notes

I am sure many readers are aware that I used to send out
foreign brokerage reports to the members in my mailing list.
The last send-out was believed to be on February this year
and since then I have not done any mailing due to some
issues with Yahoo mail. I will resume the sending soon, and
if any reader is not in my list, kindly give me an email and
I will add you in.

Next, I wish to ask the readers and the general investing/trading
communities one question, " What is the SINGLE most disturbing/
important/critical question that you always want to ask regarding
making money from Mr Market?" It can be any type of question,
the 6 Ws, Who, Where, What, When, Why and How.
If you always have such a query or doubt, this is a good chance
to have it answered. I will collect and compile some questions
asked by the readers and answer it in my own experience and
knowledge, and in my always clear and simple language.
I am So Thick Skin!!

Keep the emails coming in.....I am waiting...

Market View 7 June 2010

Wall Street plunged last friday "after a disappointing
U.S. jobs report and new concerns that the European
debt crisis was spreading." All the 3 major indexes
fell more than 3%, with Dow lost 323 points or 3.2%
to close at 9932, S&P 500 fell 38 points or 3.4%
to close at 1065 and Nasdaq plunged 84 points
or 3.6% to close at 2219. "U.S. stocks could face
more pressure this week unless investors get some
relief from worries about Europe, jobs and the toll
they might take on the economic recovery."
Very scary isn't it? :-)

I was right last friday and have cleared most contra
positions with quite a reasonably profits, and I will
approach this week full of anticipation and excitement,
especially today. Stocks will definitely opened with a
big down bang, and a much welcomed one to me,
as I can once again pick-up bargains again. Lucky me.

Some readers said that they don't know how to react
during such a "red-letter day". Well, it is very simple.
You can either enjoy the show from the sideline or
plunge into the choppy water to pick-up "delicacies".

I certainly won't just buy-up any stocks but will only
concentrated on a few, and for my taste, they are
Genting, Cosco, Sound Global, PEC, YZJ, Mermaid
and Broadway. I ceretainly hope that their opening will
be as low as possible, if not there will be not much meat
and juice left.
