Uncle Sam staged a strong rally to close
up at a high. Dow surged 218 points or 1.7%,
Nasdaq closed up above 3000 points at 3040
adding 56 points and S&P 500 closed up 1.8%
Last time round, when Dow was above 13000
points, it succumbed to selling pressure and
reversed down below again. What is going to
happen this time.
I was right about the market will get livelier this
couple of days and I also stated that "I expect
to see market weaker soon and if there is no
"exciting" news to spur the market up, the only
direction is the reverse." Although there are some
interesting progress in both the Europe and US,
I continue to view that we are in a rebound and
I will only change my view when I see a more
clearer picture.
Stocks will open brightly, but I certainly don't believe
that the optimism will last through the trading day.
We already pre-surged yesterday and I think the
upside will be very much capped for today.

危机就是转机!! The Chinese use two brush strokes to write the word "Crisis". One brush stroke stands for Danger, the other for Opportunity. In a Crisis, be aware of the Danger but recognise the Opportunity. - Former US President Richard Nixon
