Before I left for my holiday, I mentioned that
the blog is going through a revamp because
of my wife's comment that I am stupid to tell
strangers about the winner stocks when I should
secretly trade those stocks myself. And till today,
my wife is still having the same view on this blog.
That is why to appease her anger and critical view
on this blog, I am going to start to make some
money from it.
When I set-up the blog way back in 2008, it was
meant to be a blog where I voice out my view and
concerns on the market and to give the readers
some genuine technical view. I am glad to know
that I am not talking or writing to the wall and there
are actually readers who will read my blog everyday
on their way to work or when they are in the office.
This blog is not meant to be a broad-base site so
I seldom did any marketing of the site and itspread
through word-of-mouth and the daily readers number
stands about 300 and on occasionally it can hit about
350-400 when the market is extremely hot. By the way,
when such stats is recorded, I know that the market
is about to make a turn.
The only current advertisement income that I have in
blog is from the Google Adsense as in those green and
blue ads that are on the blog now. I will make a few
cents per click on the ads by the readers and it is actually
not much if I can disclose. I wasn't prepare to have much
ads as my main revenue comes from the my stock trading
profits and it will remain this way throughout. My wife has
other ideas and she feels that I should make money from
the blog rather than I telling people the winner stocks
and letting others make money from my blog.
To say the truth, I don't mind telling people what are
the winner stocks and where are they heading or any
headwind ahead or where they will fall back to.
In fact, I enjoy giving my own opinion and I am encouraged
by some wonderful comments from emails, Skype messages
and even on the blog post comments. But to appease my
wife and a woman's wrath, I have to start adding more
adverts in the blog. Some Skype readers that I chat with
even concurred with my wife's view and feel that a blog that
is not making money is totally uncalled-for, so just be it.
Here are some changes that you will see from next Monday:
1. There will be a adverts on a or some particular products
that I feel that the readers will benefit. It can be a stock-related
course or it can be a entirely non-related one. If you feel that
the product or course suits you, then you are welcome to
make a purchase. I will be very frank to state out-front that
I will make a commission with any purchase. That means
extra revenues from the blog and that will suit my wife fine.
2. I have setup another blog, Stock Lobang Recommends
which is still under construction, and it will be purely marketing
site with products and courses that the readers maybe interested in.
Once again, I will make a commission with any purchase.
3. I will re-start the Analyst Research Report again from
next Monday and in it, I will place advertisements too.
If you don't want to continue to receive the report, just give
me an email, and you will be out permanently. No question asked.
4. If you see anything or anywhere different in the blog and I
did not mention it in blog then they are the changes that I have made.
