The last trading day of June and Q2 2011.
Are we going to witness a last-minute window
dressing today and all stocks get to be pushed
up in a buying frenzy?
I believe you will be disappointed if you are
having such unrealistically optimistic view.
Yesterday, STI chalked up a 29 points gain but
if you look at the broad market, not many stocks
are really having a good run, the focus seems to
lie more with the blue chips. Only the "chosen" ones
will shine today, and I have highlighted a couple of
them in my blog lately.
Some readers I chatted with bought STX OSV at the
1.36 resistance-turned-support yesterday and I believe
they stand to gain a few cents of contra profits, but do
still have your cut-loss ready in case a strong headwind
comes by.
Yesterday, I received a comment from someone by the
name of Active Investor with a former remisier king,,
Peter Lim picture. He asked "How many % you can make
per year?" Well, I certainly won't disclose the exact figure
that I made, but seriously, you don't need to make money
from many stocks, you just need to make BIG money
from a couple of stocks to have a good performance year.
An example will the most recent case of STX OSV, a trader
can make at least a 10-20cts profits from the stock
and if let say you have a reasonable transaction volume,
you are close to making what others is making in a few
months of salary. It is just a simplified example and scenario
that I am talking, but as in all trades, the risks need to be
well-managed as well.
Enter any position with a Cut-loss level & Trailing Stop,
and Please practice strict Money(Risk)-management.
If you don't like what you see in the market,
simply don't trade.
If you have Skype, and would like to chat with me about
