I have some issues to settle last Friday so I wasn't
available to do a Market View.
Hint: You may have seen me if you were in the
"queue" at Expo.
Ok, back to what to expect from Mr Market this week.
Last Friday, our local market was up in tandem with the
regional market but the total trading volume is still weak.
We have 2 camps right now regarding the market direction
right now. On one side, we have the optimists that view that
the current Middle East and Africa political unrest will be
over soon, and even if it is not over, the impact will be lessen
and minimise as the days go on. The other camp hold the
opinion that the worst is yet to come and the market will
continue to fall in the coming days together with more bad
news from the region. I am in the optimist camp although I
am cautiously optimistic that the market will be supported
at crucial level and will not fall off the cliff in a free-fall.
We also have the accounting irregularities and audit issues with
2 S-Chip, China HongXing and Hongwei Technolgies. When the
companies were in trading halt, the "news" were already spreading
in the communities and I did mention to a couple of skype members.
Let's put it this way, there are bound to have a black sheep in any
group and we have seen them popping up in the recent years.
There are still quality S-Chips listed in Singapore and if one should
look closely at their books and fundamental, there are hidden gems
waiting to be discovered.
Like what I told many readers on email and skype, if you don't
like what you see in the market or not comfortable with
the current market condition or sentiment, you can simply
stay out and watch the horror show or action-packed movie
unveil itself. If you do want to get involve in the market now,
then please holds a mid-long term view and prepare yourself
for being "stuck" for some time.
Enter any position with a Cut-loss level & Trailing Stop,
and Please practice strict (Risk)Money-management.
If you don't like what you see in the market,
simply don't trade.
If you have Skype, and would like to chat with me about
stocks and all others, you can ring me at my
email address: stocklobang@yahoo.com
I have currently a couple of members skyping with me
everyday, and they are having good trading results.

危机就是转机!! The Chinese use two brush strokes to write the word "Crisis". One brush stroke stands for Danger, the other for Opportunity. In a Crisis, be aware of the Danger but recognise the Opportunity. - Former US President Richard Nixon
