Market View 8 October 2009

Another triple digit gain for Dow, and a good
showing from Nasdaq and S&P 500 as well
on optimism about the global economy and
the higher expectation of better corporate
earning results. I actually expect the the US
to be volatile after the earning result is out,
but it is even more "happening" pre-result,
which is a good sign to me.
The main action will be Uncle Sam's market tonight!

Our market went up yesterday, but the same
can't be said for the pennies. Those that were
mentioned performed reasonable with the
exception of United Enviro which suffered
a selldown after the placement news was up.

If you haven't notice, the commodities are back
in the play. Indoagri, First Resources, Straits Asia,
Golden Agri were up strongly yesterday, and it is
likely the momentum will continue today.
If we are in the same wavelength, you will know what
I mean when I say that the stocks MAY have
hit a interim bottom and do a rebound. It is a
good strategy to catch stocks on a momentum and
trend play, and the reward can be succulent.

I continue to like the following stocks and will be trading
them: Ausgroup, Ezion, Falcon, F1, First Res, Li Heng (Trading Halt now),
Mermaid, Sinomem, Swiber, United Enviro, YZJ, Yingli & Pan Hong.
Looking closely at Rotary & Tat Hong.
I believe that the commodities play will flow into
other sector if the trend continues, and take note
of the O&M and Water sectors, as there are
many "exciting" stocks in it.

Enter any position with a Cut-loss level & Trailing Stop,
and Please practice strict (Risk)Money-management.
If you don't like what you see in the market,
simply don't trade.
