In a flash, today is the last trading day of 2008,
although it is only a half-trading day.
It is time to do a reflection on the lessons and
experiences learnt in this year, and to set the
direction and pace for an entire fresh New Year!
This year, we witnessed an "incredible" and
unprecedented market action, most of the time
is bloody selldown all around the world.
Financial powerhouses collapsed, Call of the
much-hated-and-scared "R"ecession word
echoed around the world, and Singapore and US
are officially in Recession. We saw lots of retrenchment
from MNCs, and this bad situation is widely expected to
continue into 2009 and maybe 2010.
As a investor and/or trader, what happened to your portfolio
this year? Did you trim down your holding in time before
the onslaught begins? Did you short the stocks down and
gain a good profit by stepping on the blood on the ground?
Did you add and buy-up good stocks which have been
indiscriminately sold down?
If you are in my report mailing list, I started calling for
buy-up, accumulation of good stocks around August,
and when this blog was set-up in October, I continue to
call for Buy and Accumulation of strong Blue Chips,
and some pennies that have been whacked down.
If you have heed my advice and bought some
stocks from August to October, you should be sitting
on a healthy profit.
I bought a generous amount of stocks, both Blues
and Pennies in the last couple of months. I will continue
to hold them and add-on in market weakness, unless
my trailing stops are triggered. For my holdings, my trailing
stops will be more relaxed than that of trading stocks.
I believe we have set a temporary market low, and although
the worst is not over as some reports have mentioned,
I am very optimistic about making money from trading/investing
in our local stock market in 2009.
I believe the market will presents an abundant supply of
great trading opportunites, and BIG money can be made
from it. The opportunites may not be present everyday,
but if you just caught one great push-up trading move
from the Hot stocks, you will be in for an "indecent" profit.
It is essential to set trading goal every year before actually
trading the stocks, and I have been doing so for years.
I am setting a Net Trading Profit of 650k for the year of 2009.
For some people, it may be a absurd or audacious target, while
it may be a chicken-feed target for some great traders.
To me, it is a doable and achievable goal, as 2009 will
be a traders' funland as the market action will be volatile
and wild, and it will have enough range play and price action
to last for the whole year.
I will give a list of Must-See, Must-Study, Must-in-Watchlist stocks
that I am personally eyeing, focusing, targeting and trading them.
This is not an exhaustive list, but it is enough for a good trading
in year 2009.
The Must-See & Must-in-Watchlist Trading stocks:

2. Cosco

9. Raffles Education
10. Yang ZiJiang
11. Yanlord
12. IndoAgri
13. Midas
The still sleeping but anytime will wakeup
with a bang Must-Study stocks:
(Many of them are former darling of the traders)
1. KS Energy (One of the most "unpredictable" stock)
2. Li Heng (The largest china fibre company listed here on market cap)
3. Sino-enviro (Former punters' and house traders' favourite stock)

13. Keppel T&T (Do you still remember this stock? I do, becos it

1. Ezion (Becos of its parent company Ezra)

7. China XLX
8 China Milk
9. Beauty China (Active volume and range seen lately)
10. Celestial
11. Sinotech Fibre

13. JES
For the Blue Chips, I like SPH, SMRT, Singtel, Keppel and
Semb Corp. For the banks, I will be nibbing them bit
by bit. Once the daily market volume starts to increase,
SGX will once again be the limelight.
I currently have a couple of members skyping with me
everyday, and we keep one another updated with the
market happening, and I can say that they are doing
pretty well in the last 2 months. I am looking for more
like-minded traders and/or investor to join us in
skype everyday. We will achieve much more with
cooperation and teamwork in our pursue of
great profit from Mr Market.
OK, I will end with a New Year wish that
everyone will make Big Money from
the market, and stay Healthy to fight the
market wave everyday!!
P.S.: If you are still holding to the trading winners
from last 2 days, set a trailing stop, and follow
them strictly. You would have made good money
from Noble, Cosco, Straits Asia, Olam and Yanlord
lately.
P.P.S: If you are setting goals to learn more about
the market, do yourself a favour, learn some TA
on the market. It is an essential tool to really make
money from the market.
