Market View 4 March 2013

I had a dinner session with a few friends over the weekend,
and they asked me whether the market can still continue
to move up and higher. Quite a handful of readers asked
me the exact the same question last week on Skype or
email. I told them that the market is tired but it won't die
off. It just need to take a kit-kat and it will be back with
strength after the short commercial break. My view of the
market is still the same and intact since I posted it in
the first post of the year. I expect a good first half of the
the year and stock can really surge through the roof but
it will face greater challenge in the 2nd half. A real case
of 虎头蛇尾.

Next, I won't be writing any personal view on the IPO,
Mapletree Greater China Commercial Trust. But if you
ask me whether I will put money into the IPO, then the
answer is a resounding "Yes". Given the miserable and
terrible bank interest rate that we are having right now,
and if you are not willing to take big risk, then you can
try your luck on the IPO. It offers far better returns on your
money than the banks.
