Ok, if you can still see this paragraph, that means
that I have not wake up yet after watching the
Euro 2012 final between Spain and Italy.
And Yes, I am a football fan.
Anyway, I believe I won't miss out much of the
morning market action since stocks will almost
definitely open up with a bang after the strong
performance with the US indices last Friday.
Added: Nothing much else to add this morning
just that Spain won the Euro 2012 and I am glad
that I woke up and stay up through the entire match.
What a great display of sublime passing and
deadly attacking and finishing by the Spain.
Looking at the pre-opening quotes, almost all the
stocks will jump up this morning. The issue is whether
it can last the whole day. I believe we will see some
profit-taking toward the end of the day. See whether
I am right or not.
Some readers "unintentionally" asked me about my
view on the CHC and KH case. It is a so hotly debated
topic both on the Internet and offline when people
meet up or just a after-dinner or coffee-break discussion.
I don't wish to comment much on the case but I only
got a few Chinese sayings to comment on what had
happened.
Ok, a reader Mint posted a comment in the blog
last Friday, and I will re-publish it today.

We had a very wonderful June and the blog readers
should recalled that I call for a interim BOTTOM within
10 trading days from 5th June and during that time, we
have the Greek election coming in days. I also stated that
we are going to see a good June-July and I boldly stick
out my head with my blatant statements. At this stage,
I am absolutely right with my views and I continue to
believe that we will have a good trading month July,
unless I sense that the trend and sentiment is turning
south and sour, and I will update in the blog accordingly.
What I wrote on 5th June 2012?!
I have to say that I am better at picking or sensing
bottom-turning signals rather than top-turning ones.
I don't have a crystal ball with me and I formulate my
analysis from various sources and of course, my most trusted
Mr Charts, Mr Trend and Miss Sentiment. I am trying
to have a consistent and amicable relationship with
Mr Market, but he is blowing hot and cold with me currently.
(If you are asking Why is Miss Sentiment the only lady in
the party, then maybe you have not been in a BGR or
you are not married yet. Ok, I am just joking... 8-( )
Ok, next, we will talk about Stock Selections.
I have to re-iterate that to win good money from our
local market, you seriously need not look at tons of stocks
to profit from them. You just need to know which stock
will definitely be moving each and everyday and for that
we need the stocks to have trading volume and range.
I have already given my stock watchlist at the beginning
of the year and if you can re-read what I stated on
3rd Jan to 5th Jan blog then you will know the stocks
that I am with and watching everyday. You only need
to look at Winners and not every stocks to really make
good money in the stock market. Oh ya, don't bother
to ask me about those micro-pennies of a few cents
that are always hovering in the Top Volume. I am not
interested in them so I don't have any comment to give
to the readers who ask about them. They can go up
1000% in a couple of days and I won't even raise my
eyebrow to look at them. I stick with my Winners stocks.
What I wrote at the beginning of the year?!
I can only give so much advices everyday and if the
readers want to know more about Mr Market, then
he/she really need to do some read-up about them.
We have very well-equipped and well-stocked regional
and National Libraries with plenty of good financial books
on FA, TA, Stock Trading/Investing, Market Psychology, etc
but how many of the readers really make full use of the
facilities and the books. I have been to several countries'
libraries and you don't know how lucky and fortunate that
we are living here and not some other places.
Just ask yourself, when was the last time you step foot
into a library or when was the last time you get yourself
a really good book in the library and not using up all the
lending quotas for your kids' books?
Next, I am going to disclose a very closely-guarded secrets
that I believe that maybe some other traders have also
observed but never reveal it out to the public. If you are a
regular lender of the Financial or Business section books,
then just by judging at the number of books available, you
can gauge how the market will be moving very soon.
Just to put it very plainly and bluntly in case I am not good
at putting in a lot of words. During the Super-Bull run, you will
find that the shelves are quite empty and many books that
you wish to borrow are all gone. It is like you are hearing
fishmonger and the fruit-seller in the wet market chit-chating
about which stock to buy and sell and a relatively unknown
penny stock is going to surge 500%.
Wow Wow, if only I am that "well-informed" as them....
By the way, you hear it FIRST here at my blog about the
number of financial books in relation to the status of
the stock market direction. I stand to be corrected.

Hello there Mr stock lobang,
I have been reading your blog for over a year now. I am even more Kia see and don't dare to buy those trading stocks in the $1.xx region. I normally buy those stocks on STI above $2.xx.
I just want to thank you for your bull run call beginning of this year. I made some money and sold some stocks which I bought at too high a price last year. I am also relying on your call that we are gonna have a good jun/jul. :)
