I received several emails and Skypes messages
asking about something that I wrote in the blog
yesterday. They wanted to know whether I am
telling the readers to Short Civmec. I think I have
not made myself clear yesterday. I am not comfortable
with the stock having quite a spectacular surge since
the listing and the valuation is pretty rich now.
If you have been in the market for quite some time,
you will know that speculative stocks which have been
pushed up not due to fundamental ground will have
a nasty wake-up call when it fall from grace. The fall
will be hard but sometimes not as swift. You can totally
disagree with my personal view but I am only just
voicing out my concerns. I see a fall in Civmec and
it will lead to a significant selling in other stocks as well.
I maybe wrong but it is only my view again.
A few readers asked about China Minzhong's surge
yesterday. I believe it definitely have something to do
with the research report published by Maybank Kim Eng
who gave the stock a 1.16 target price after visiting the
company. To me, it is still considered a rebound unless
it can stay above 61cts for this couple of days and with
increasing volume to back it up toward the 63cts resistance.
Fundamentally, I like the stock and I believe it is undervalued.
It will be announcing its full-year result in the last week
of August if I am not wrong, so maybe it will have a run-up
prior to the result announcement.
