I clearly mentioned that this week starting from
23th all the way to the end of the month will be
crucial and deciding about 2-3 weeks ago. And
I was proven right as we witnessed a bloodshed
in yesterday's trading. Although STI only suffered
a slight injury, the mid-caps and pennies suffered
heavy casualties. When I look at the US opening
hour last night, it was down as much as 240 points
but it managed to regain the losses and even close
down less than half at 101 points. You see, the Euro
crisis is here to stay as it will always be out to haunt
the market with this country need a bailout and that
country being downgraded by a rating agency. The
issue with the Euro crisis is that it is not a easy task
to completely settle and resolved. Frankly, each
country is just going to see how they can drag the longest
to enjoy a better rescue package and having to pay
the lesser commitments.
A readers posted the below comment in blog yesterday,
"Mr stocklobang,
Bargain hunting.... need your expert view on STI
strong
support and any potential counters to buy on dip for those
who
missed it. Thanks in advance.
Rgds, Wen"
Well, the stocks that I am looking are somehow still the same
minus off some which are creating 52-week low any other day.
You can refer back to my post at the beginning of the
year for the list of stocks that I look at everyday.
A few readers asked me about the IPO JB Foods which
debut yesterday. I can only say that it got off on a
bad day. In my IPO blog, I mentioned that I am looking
at a 50-66% on the stock which is about 45-50cts.
The stock's day-high yesterday was 42cts which is just
a few steps away.

危机就是转机!! The Chinese use two brush strokes to write the word "Crisis". One brush stroke stands for Danger, the other for Opportunity. In a Crisis, be aware of the Danger but recognise the Opportunity. - Former US President Richard Nixon
