I will keep it short for this market view today.
It was reported in the Straits Times that there maybe
silver lining in Wall Street weakness as sophisticated
investor and hedge funds searching for better returns
will find the regional markets attractive. I believe this
is a very likely scenario as seen in our market reactions
to the indexes fall in the US. For today's market action,
I expect a "snake-head-tiger-tail" ending. Stocks will
be weaker at the opening bell but will move steadily
toward the market close.
For those readers who asked me about Genting, my view
is still the same as it is still within in 1.97-2.04 range
and a break of either will signify the trend and momentum
change, and the trading should follows.
Some readers may still remembered that I mentioned a
stock call Hu An Cable, and the stock have been moving
slow and steady toward the 41cts resistance and the major
resistance at 52-week high 43.5cts
There are a few stocks below or near to the $1 mark that
I am very interested and they are as follow:
1. Metro
2. Mewah
3. PEC
4. Hi-P
5. Amtek
I believe they are definitely >$1 stocks and any weakness
below the $1 is a good buy with a 6-month investment horizon.
