It is a pool of greens with the US indices at the market
closing bell as the 3 major indices closed up more
than 1%. Dow gained 118 points, S&P 500 added 15
points while the Nasdaq surged 24 points.
Strong figures from the U.S. Institute for Supply
Management's (ISM) manufacturing index for January,
and good surge by the energy sector propelled the good
showing yesterday. Is the current correction selloff
over? I would like to see the same sentiment and
momentum continue for a few more day before coming
up with a decided view.
A skype member told me yesterday that it was so boring
in last few trading sessions as the stocks are going up
and down like doing a cha-cha dance, 2 steps forward-1 step
back, or is it is the reverse? I have to comment that sometimes
the market had to take a well-deserved break, to prepare
for the next wave of action, which in my opinion, is more
bullish bias although still in a cautious mood.
I will concentrate on the stocks nearing or heading toward
the $1 mark, and should break it when the north wind
is once again blowing. Midas at 99cts, CWT at 93 cts,
Epure at 90cts are some of the good targets, while still
keeping track of the rest of the winners for strong breakout
if it happens.
Winner Stocks: Epure, Sinomem, Asia Enviro, CSE, CWT,
PEC, Ezion,Swiber,Broadway, Midas & Sinotel, Golden Agri,
Yingli, Biosensor (added).
Tiger Airways (IPO punt, if available)

危机就是转机!! The Chinese use two brush strokes to write the word "Crisis". One brush stroke stands for Danger, the other for Opportunity. In a Crisis, be aware of the Danger but recognise the Opportunity. - Former US President Richard Nixon
