Market View 3 March 2010

It is the same old story happening in the US, with
the Dow advancing to as high as 50 points before fading
off late in the day and closed up 2 points. S&P 500
advanced 3 points and Nasdaq gained 7 points. We will
have an important employment data coming out at the
end of the week, and all eyes will be on its outcome.
It is looking to be an exciting closing toward the week.

I received a Skype message from a reader that I "copied"
the trading strategy on Genting from another "well-known"
blog VXGo and its self-proclaimed trainer. I was quite shocked
and surprised with such accusation and went to the site immediately.
After I read his posting, I realised that he only commented on
Genting's movement on 28th February while I started my comment
on 23 February, and my more detailed view was on the 26 February
posting. Yes, we came out with the same view that the strong and
important support level is at 86.5cts, but I certainly stated this
figure days before the other site.

Ok, now that Genting had touched 86.5cts support level and
closed at 87 yesterday, what's next for this stock?
From the chart view, if 86.5cts is breached, by that I mean
it close below 86.5cts, the next support level is at 80.5-81cts.
Is it possible that Genting will drop to that "low"?
Anything is possible in the stock market, and we just need to
be prepared for every and any possible scenario, although
I feel that supporting hand should be out very soon.
As an investor, I will take this great opportunity to grab this
"infant" stock which once it is pass the initial "restless and troubled"
stage, it will be going for the strong growth stage.
For the trader, I stick to my view that contra position should only
be done when it is pass 92cts.

I continue to see that we will be having a good trading week,
and will trade the winner stocks when it is green.
Genting, CH Offshore,Falcon Energy, CWT, PEC,
Epure & YZJ (added).
Winner Stocks: Sinomem, CSE, Ezion, Swiber,Broadway,
Midas, Sinotel, Golden Agri, Yingli, Biosensor.

Market View 2 March 2010

Ok, I am late to post for the market view today so I
will dive straight into the local trading view.

Many will be asking the question that whether they
should go into Genting now that it had rebound from
low, and closed at 91cts yesterday. Actually, if you are
an investor, the fact is that you should already be in the
stock when it was trading below 90cts, and it is also likely
that you bought them when it was below $1. My view is that
once it is pass the current turbulence, it will go back to the
normal path. For the trader, in my own trade, I will only look
at it above 92cts. If you ask me why, I will tell you that it is
what my chart is showing me.

Many other stocks are looking attractive for trades now, we
have the water stocks Epure and Sinomem on the move.
The offshore stocks are doing decently well lately, and the trend
is likely to continues. Sinotel had woke up from its sleep, and is
once again attracting lots of interest aka trading volume.
Broadway, CWT and CSE Global is in the 90s and the $1 mark
is just ahead, can they reach it?
I don't see why this is not going to be a great trading profits
week, but you still need to have the "protection" mechanism
ready. Keep your cut-loss and trailing stops ready, and enjoy
the surges.

Enter any position with a Cut-loss level & Trailing Stop,
and Please practice strict (Risk)Money-management.
If you don't like what you see in the market,
simply don't trade.

Market View 1 March 2010

The first trading day of March, what can we expect today?
Just a quick recap what happened in the US market
last friday: Major indices closed little change with
Dow gained 4 points, S&P 500 added 1 point and
Nasdaq up 4 points. This week we will have some vital
data coming out in the US, like the Institute for Supply
Management indexes on manufacturing and services.
February's job figure will have an impact this week too,
but I see the market still consolidating and may even
surge higher.

Ok, now that we have the corporate results out, so what
is there to look for or look at in our market for trading and
investing? The main focus looks to stay with Genting for a
long time, which I have discussion both on emails and skype
from readers. My view is still the same, there is a major support
level at 86.5cts, and for investment point of view, I will gradually
grab it up bit by bit. For trading, I will look at it when it pass the
92cts again according to what I see in the chart.

I am cautiously optimistic this week and will be sticking with the
greens for today's tradings.
Main Focus: Genting, Broadway, Falcon Energy, CWT, PEC,
Epure & YZJ (added).
Winner Stocks: Sinomem, CSE Global, CH Offshore, Ezion,

Market View 26 February 2010

In a volatile session in overnight trade, the 3 major
US indices closed in the red but well recovered from the
day-low. Dow was down as much as 188 points but rebound
in the last few hours of trading to close down 53 points.
Both S&P 500 and Nasdaq fell about 2 points. Stocks were
initially being battered on the news that jobless claims
rise unexpectedly, and Greece's debt rating being downgraded
by rating agencies.

Ok, back to our own soil.
The main stock actor that I have receiving day-in-day-out
recently is Genting, which was the same case again when
it fell down hard. I said before in a couple of blogs ago that
if you are a mid-term investor, this is a wonderful opportunity
to grab the stock at a bargain price. Yes, its price may go down
yet again, but you simply won't know, and I believe you definitely
won't be able to catch the lowest point. You can start to accumulate
it bit by bit. Nobody is telling you to show-hand and pump all the
money into one egg. For the traders, I will be cautious if I want to
contra-trade it for quick bucks. Technically, it is still trying to find
a bottom with the pyschological support of 90cts and the next
support is at 86.5cts.

I will be sticking with the greens today in the stock winners
selection, and sticking with the trailing stops and cuts.
Genting, CH Offshore,Falcon Energy, CWT, PEC,
Epure & YZJ (added).

Market View 25 February 2010

After Old Ben told the congress that interest rate will
stay low, the market rally on the "good" news.
Dow surged 92 points, S&P 500 added 11points while
Nasdaq gained 22 points. All these market swing may be
not welcomed by some, but it is certainly a sign of greater
thing to come, as once the mood is set, the movement that
follows will be fast and furious.

I was hoping for some serious genuine selling yesterday
morning, but the scale of the fall is still not enough. Most
quality stocks rebounded way too early to my disliking,
as I only managed to caught a couple of them.
Nevertheless, you should still have reasonable profits if you
are in Broadway, Epure, Sinotel, Sinomem, YZJ, Yingli,
CWT, Midas and Ezion, which are all in my winner list.
I saw from another "popular" blog website that was telling
the readers to sell yesterday, but I told my reader to buy and
enjoy the "constructive" wave, and I was proven right.

I see the momentum continuing today with the stocks in my
winners list, and I will add positions in those stocks still on the
run-up. Broadway and CWT is back into the 90s and I certainly
don't see Epure far from entering the region again. Midas is facing
resistance after overcoming the $1 mark, and should consolidate
before another surge-up. In my stock scan yesterday night, I noticed
that Ausgroup has a pretty good chart built-up, and I am watching it
closely for potential entry in the run-up. I am still quite bullish on
Genting, as it should rebound any time. But as always, have a trailing stop
and stop-loss ready, as the wind may turn and it will become a
"destructive" wave.

Market View 24 February 2010

In overnight trade, "U.S. stocks suffered their biggest
one-day decline in nearly three weeks on Tuesday after
a sharp drop in consumer confidence heightened worries
over one of the most vulnerable areas of the economy.
Dow dropped 101 points, S&P 500 fell 13 points and
Nasdaq slided 29 points. To me, it is the same old story
yet again being played out in the market. Please tell me
something that I don't know. It will be just a correction
sell-off, and we will be back on the road again.

Frankly, I hope that there will be "quality" sell-off today,
whether it is panic selling or genuine sell-off because I believe
it is yet another good opportunity to grab some bargains.
But I can only see a weak opening follow by better-than-morning
closing today, so my trading strategy today will be to nib
some stocks along the way to the greens and add-up if the
volume and wind come in like yesterday afternoon.

Recent market actions only surround just a handful of stocks,
but if you have notice, the selling has slow down, and it seems
like the next "constructive" wave maybe breeding and on its way.
In the pool of reds (if it happened), look out for the greens.
I will be trading guerilla warefare today on Genting, CH Offshore,
Falcon Energy, CWT, PEC, Epure & YZJ (added).
Winner Stocks: Sinomem, CSE, PEC, Ezion, Swiber,Broadway,
Midas & Sinotel, Golden Agri, Yingli, Biosensor.

Market View 23 February 2010

Finally, after all the CNY celebrations and good rest,
and not forgetting the goodies, I am back in stock trading
today. Hope that all my blog readers will Huat big big this
year, and ROAR all the way to the bank! Haha!!
==========================================

Ok, just a recap of what happened in the US market in
overnight trading.
Dow closed lower 19 points, S&P 500 dropped 1 points while
Nasdaq fell 2 points. Stocks were actually positive for most
of the day until the last trading hour when sellings surfaced.
Fed chief Ben Bernanke will be speaking today, and "Investors
are hoping Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke clarifies the Fed's thinking
behind last week's surprising hike in the discount rate that begins
the removal of the extraordinary liquidity that has propped up markets"

Back to our local trading scene...
I received quite many emails over the last few days on
Genting, and whether it is a Buy now, or will it drop further
down. It is actually a Great Sales now on Genting when it fell
below the $1 mark. I see it as a great buying opportunity if you
are a mid-term investor, as you won't see it below $1 for long in
my own personal view. For the traders, you should know that I
simply like those stocks in the 90s region as they have a potential
to be played-up very easily pass the $1 mark again. You should know
what to do when it is near $1.......

Ok, if you are expecting a Big Budget Angpow yesterday, then
frankly, you may not be getting what you wish for. It is quite
a conservative but workable budget, if you ask me. I don't think
the market will react strongly to it as there are no surprises.

I will not be trading aggressive today, but will look for the
greens and follow the winners cautiously.
Focusing on Genting, CH Offshore, Falcon Energy,
CWT, PEC, Epure.
Winner Stocks: Sinomem, CSE, PEC, Ezion, Swiber,

Broadway, Midas & Sinotel, Golden Agri, Yingli, Biosensor.
